The other day Kara and I were writing a note to a friend of ours who is stationed in Djibouti. (Yes, I have made a bunch of jokes about it) My eldest son (Jakin-7) asked if he could write something. We said, “Sure.” He proceeded to write: “God blesses you.” I asked him if he meant “God bless you.” He said, “No.” The more I thought about it, the more I’m convinced my son may understand God more than I do. It is about God and what God is already doing in us and for us.

May we all realize this more and more.
