A TIMEly Lesson
by Steve Case

This is a great hands-on activity for larger groups.  You will need about 20 sheets of easel paper.  Hang these around the room and write one of the “TIME TO” verses from Ecclesiastes at the top or each sheet. Pile a bunch of magazines in the middle of the room and instruct the students to come up with at least one picture for every sheet hanging around the room.  The idea here is to be metaphorical, not literal. For example, don’t cut out a picture of a tractor for A TIME TO HARVEST. This allows for creativity and interpretation and encourages your students to think outside of the box.
